Have you ever wondered?... What if?... Why?... Why not?... What's it like?... What am I talking about?... What are you thinking?... Who am I?... Why did you take the time to read this?...
How vast is space?... Is there an end to the endless?... Why do we only use a fraction of our brain?... Is the life we live a gift or a curse?... Do insects feel?... Do they think?... Is there a species more intelligent than us?... Do we exist with a purpose?... Do we simply exist?... Does the sky reflect the ocean?... Have you ever wondered?...

Armageddon: The ultimate display of heroism
Armageddon, in my opinion, is one of the greatest movies ever made. It's about a group of simple oil drillers of little importance becoming heroes of mankind. The oil drillers show every trait of heroism, including sacrifice. The oil drillers had to go through NASA training, in too short a period of time, and drill a super deep hole in a super massive meteor to split it in half so it'd pass around Earth and not hit it. The cast couldn't have been better(I think), and they played their individual roles awesomely. Bruce Willis owns at the end and it's the saddest thing ever. R.I.P. Brucey...

The Lion, The Witch, And The Closet: Part One
"Hey guys! I have a grand idea! Let us play tag!", said the creepy old man to the children. "I'll be it!" Lucinda, Eddy, Suzy, and Pablo were all a bit frightened. But then again, they all loved tag. Lucinda was 9, Eddy was 10, Suzy was 15, and Pablo was 17. With smiles on their faces, they all ran off to hide after the old man began counting. They all split off to different rooms to hide, each hoping one of the others would be found first.
Pablo ended up finding a large room with a large window and a large closet. The window escaped Pablo's attention, though it was hardly lame. The window shone light but could not be looked through, though it had no strange pattern. It was just a flat window that you would see in any house, yet it seemed the light shining through was coming from the glass itself. But Pablo paid no attention. He saw the closet and felt a connection with it. It was a very strong connection. It was as if a rope was tied around his waist, pulling him. He was walking toward the closet not because he wanted to hide in it, but because it intrigued him. Suddenly, he heard the door behind him shut.
He looked back at the door and headed toward it to open it again. He didn't get very far before the door opened itself. It was Lucinda, Eddy, and Suzy. They explained that they all ended up in a hall with only two doors. The first they had entered, and the other they had to enter. The door to the room they were in shut once more. Now it was locked. They weren't bothered so much by it. They were more interested in the closet. The others now felt what Pablo felt.
Once they got close enough to open it, Pablo stepped forward and reached for the knob. Before he could grab it, the knob seemed to turn on its own and the door, slowly but surely, swung open. It was empty and very dark. Light in the room ended just before the closet entrance. The darkness consumed any existing light trying to enter.
Pablo was drawn in. When he stepped in, it was very warm and it seemed to be damp. Regardless the details of the interior, it was far to dark to see. The others followed him into the closet and were surprised at how roomy it was. The four of them stuck their arms out in front of them and felt around for a wall, an end to the seemingly endless darkness, but found nothing. Behind them the door shut, completing the eternal blackness.
Moving was too risky. Using their voices, they slowly came together and decided to hold hands to be safe. No one wanted to break off and get lost. They kept to one direction, which they agreed to assume was the way opposite in which they entered. They never found a wall but the more they walked, the thicker the air got. Suddenly, though they had no sense of depth, a dim light in the distance appeared. Still in the darkness, they cautiously approached the source of light.
When they got close enough, Pablo noticed something strange about the scenery. It seemed the closet was a passage from the house to a cave! Excited that they were free from the darkness' discomforting grasp, the children ran toward the light and into the cave. The children had just learned a bit about freedom, and of the privilege it granted.

A day in the life...
"There he is! Get him!"
They chased me for as long as they could, but I always get away. I can never understand why they chase me, I am but a simple man. I work on a poppy field for 15 hours a day and on my way home, I just want to stop and get a bowl of rice. I love Chinese rice. So here I am once again, eating my lovely rice, wanting to enjoy it in peace. But I know what to expect. I never run the same route. I don't want them to figure me out and wait ahead for me with a trap set. That would probably hurt. I could just turn and fight them, no chance of losing, but I am a peaceful man. I just want to live my own life. Go to work, eat rice, go home, and eat rice. What is it that makes them angry with me? I am a man of little importance that does not interfere with the lives of others. So, I wonder, why do they insist on doing so to me? I may find the answer in a later chapter of my life, but for now I am just going to sit down and enjoy my rice.
